Salient features of the Train
Each train consists of 6 coaches Every coach will have space for accompanying baggage 80% passengers will travel seated, 20% standing.
Trains will be fully air-conditioned and vestibuled with PA system & passenger information display.
Maximum speed 160 kmph, maximum operating speed 145 Kmph and commercial speed will be 85 Kmph.
Number of trains set proposed – 10 Nos. initially.
To start with, train frequency will be 10 minutes. This can be later reduced to 8 minutes, to 6 minutes and 3 minutes.

Two city terminals have been planned where air passengers can check-in and take boarding passes.
At the Police Parade Ground near M.G. Road. Near Hebbal flyover on the right side of NH-7.
