As a consultant specifier, his focus is on quality assurance reviews of contract documents, and production of architectural construction specifications.

Cliff's background in construction as an apprentice in virtually every building trade provided him with a solid foundation for entry into a career as an architect. Cliff is also an experienced educator and has served on the faculty of the Institute of Design and Construction and NYU/Polytech. He is an active member of CSI, currently serving as the Technical Committee Chair of the Metro NY Chapter and as a member of the Northeast Region Nominating Committee.

I am currently active at the Region Level, serving as the Maine Chapter Representative to the Northeast Region Board of Directors for FY 2013 and FY 2014. I have attended 7 of the last 10 Construct Shows and CSI Annual Meetings, serving as a Delegate for the Maine Chapter and a voting member.

I look forward to serving the Maine Chapter, The Northeast Region and the Construction Specifications Institute for the foreseeable future. I am also, currently in my third year utilizing my CCCA as a Construction Consultant, following my retirement from the University of Maine after 24 years in the Campus Facilities Management Department. For the last 12 years prior to my retirement, I was the Associate Executive Director of facilities management for Planning Design and Construction. In this position, I served as the University liaison, with Architects, Engineers, Code Officials and Regulatory Agencies, coordinating the necessary activities relative to Planning, Design, Construction and Renovations to University Facilities.
