What is ACC Business PNT?
Private Network Transport
 MPLS-enabled, Network-based, IP-VPN
service
 Based on a foundation of standard MIS
access ports
 Provides “Fully-Meshed” connectivity
between multiple customer defined locations
 A closed private network exclusively using

Traffic Class Distinctions
 Four traffic service classes are available
 CoS 1 - Real-Time; targeted to applications
such as Voice over IP and video conferencing.
 CoS 2 - Critical Data; targeted to mission
critical data applications such as credit
transactions and Enterprise Resource
Planning (e.g. - PeopleSoft and SAP)
 CoS 3 - Standard Business Data; targeted to
applications such as Human Resource web
sites, company email, etc.
 CoS 4 - General Data Applications; targeted to
general Internet browsing, FTP, etc
9
Customer Application Profiles
 A “CoS Profile” is a template that is used
within the network to allocate bandwidth
across the Committed Data Rate (CDR)
ordered by the customer
 CDR is the bandwidth equivalent of the MIS
port at each customer network location
 Each customer port will be provisioned
using one of 25 CoS profiles, each of
which provide pre-determined bandwidth
percentage allocations for each service
class
 Assigned profile can be adjusted as evolving
customer application requirements may dictate
