SMSP2: Managed Beta Program Stated Goal: To Build Comfort and Confidence with the iWay Service Manager SP2 Release.
2 ½ Months (11/1/07 – 1/15/08) Weekly Feedback Calls: iWay SA’s, ATS, PM/PGM Participants: 33 Internal, 2 Customers, 1 Partner Spawned Training Objectives (Eclipse, Migration, EDI).
Cases: 147 opened, 48 closed/resolved, 67 irn’d, and 32 are under review.
A high percentage of the reported irn’s have solutions in the final build of SMSP2 5 Demos have yielded 3 Q1 prospects and 2 on hold.

What is it?
A special version of iWay Service Manager that allows for large organizations to deploy integration solutions within their chosen Application Server environments.
Why is it important?
Some customer IT organizations prefer to manage their infrastructure software from within standard J2EE servers. Applications running within these servers benefit from the scalability, availability, and manageability provided by the server.
Who will buy it?
IT organizations with enterprise-class requirements for scalability and availability. As well as those with the desire to do remote deployment from a centralized location.

SMSP2: iWay Solution for EDI X12 (patch required) All EDI X12 metadata has been programmatically regenerated, Loops in metadata have unique names.
Composite segments in metadata are renamed with unique identifiers for each segment.
Validating metadata is improved.
Separators and delimiters are read from inbound EDI documents rather than a hard coded list.
Inbound documents can contain a single segment delimiter or a carriage return line feed.
Support for VICS and UCS standards.
997 has the same delimiters and separators as the inbound document.
Date and time fields in messages are validated for format and content.
A model SDQ splitter is available as a process flow.
A model outbound ASN is provided. This model uses SREG to insert the HL counters
