work, either in direct quotation or reference, must contain
a bibliography listing together with the sources.
English Language – students must proofread their reports
before submitting to the faculty. Supervisors will only
concentrated on the flow of content and gist of research.
Format of Report – students must follow the standard
format as outlined in the Manual “Student Project and
Research Guidelines”
Presentation Day - STUDENT MUST BE EARLY (8.00AM OR

Plan the work properly and prepare work schedule for one year and follow the
schedule properly to ensure project is completed within the time frame
Keep record on progress work using a logbook and supervisor endorse the
meeting
Must meet supervisor regularly at least once a week so the progress is
monitored closely
Prepare project proposal to supervisor and panels with presentation
Plan properly the experimental work to avoid congestion at the end of the
semester
Minimize grammatical errors in the report
Submit final report to supervisor and panels one week before presentation
session
Make necessary correction after presentation
Ready to face certain action from the faculty if fail to follow schedule and
requirements of FYP
THE FACULTY WILL NOT ENTERTAIN ANY PETITION FOR EXTENSION
OF TIME OF SUBMISSION/PRESENTATION
CONCLUSION
 The marks will be given by the supervisors and
by Faculty Panel I and Faculty Panel II.
 Student reports will be evaluated and corrected
carefully based on precise content, words
constructed, grammars and research outcomes.
 Most of the students did not follow the standard
format of writing reports such as references,
labeling the figures, tables, graphs and poor
writing skills.
 To make sure the work are carried out properly,
students must include their planning in the
logbook and records progress work every week.
CQI
 Students must explain the results in simple and precise
sentences along with Figures. Do not put the figures
without explaining them in the texts.
 Students must construct their own sentences rather than
cut and paste from internets.
 Students must relate their objectives in the conclusions and
stated whether they achieved the objectives or not.
 The written reports must be proofread before submitted to
the faculty.
 Information regarding FYP will be put on I-LEARN, notice
board and buffer.
 PLEASE BE ALERT AND PASS THE INFORMATION TO
