Setting up a Special Negotiation Body

•Minimum: legal requirements, Preferred: more rights for employees, more
concrete provisions
•Sufficient time for meetings

•Training: employees to choose trainer(s)
SNB/EWC coordination
•1 coordinator for each SNB/EWC

on Multinational Companies, EWC‘s, and SEs

Developed in 2006, currently under revision
• Integrated approach to MNC‘s - going beyond Europe and
EWC‘s
• UNI Finance Network covers 50 EWCs and 1 SE
• Key principles same as UNI Europa EWC Guidelines, but
more encompassing and adapted to the Finance sector‘s
structure and need
• Decentralised organisation - pooling resources of employees‘
representatives and unions at all levels

multinational, Coordinated by MNC Facilitator)
