This presentation is a guide to help you use the CIS in a hassle-free manner.
To have your tax returns filed in just 3 EASY STEPS,
click FILE NOW.
Step 1 requires you to fill in your
personal information
Please key in your Permanent Account
Number (PAN)
Enter Your Date of Birth in dd/mm/yyyy format
Input the text shown above
Click Next to proceed further
If you are an existing client & have accurately filled in
your PAN & Date-of-Birth in the previous page, your
personal details will automatically get populated on
this page
If you are not an existing client, you can fill in
the correct details pertaining to your name,
your father’s name, your residential address
& the contact details
Should you need assistance while
submitting your details, kindly
refer to our HELP section on the
right hand side of your screen
Click Next to proceed further
Please select the financial year for
which you wish to file tax return
Select the income heads that
are applicable by placing a tick
in each of the boxes relevant
to you
Your APPROXIMATE billing amount will be
calculated & displayed depending on the
income heads selected by you
Kindly provide your bank details
accurately since refunds, if any, will be
deposited by the Income Tax Department
directly into your bank
Click Next to proceed further
To help us file your returns, you’ll need to upload
relevant tax documents such as Form 16, PAN card copy.
Click on the “BROWSE” button & attach the file.
Click “Add More” button to attach additional
documents.
In the “REMARKS” box, you could place your comments
or specific requests. These remarks would be useful to
our team while processing & filing your tax returns.
Click on this check box
Click Next to proceed further.
The summary of the info submitted by
you in Steps 1 to 3 is presented here for
your verification.
Details of products you have opted for
are shown here with the amount
payable.
