The main goal of the Youth Empowerment
Action is to integrate all children from the
street back into society and their homes.

Empowered youth can make considered choices.
To reach the different goals for the youth to receive
their bronze, silver or golden award, we organizes
a camp on a yearly basis.



FIF, a subsidiary of YEA, focuses on families
with children between 0 and 6 years old.
FIF is a project of FCW, the Western Cape
Foundation for Community Work. FCW
supports the FIF employees by trainings and
materials.
Homevisits to get the children at the same
level as children that goes to a creche.




Youth Empowerment Scheme is an intervention
programme for youth at risk developed by the
National Institute for Crime Prevention and
Reintegration of Offenders (NICRO)
8 sessions with different themes
Each session starts with an icebreaker and
goes on with a variation of games and
discussions.
Assist youth to make wise decisions and to
enjoy a happy childhood


A full-day programme we run every school
holiday
Teach the children life skills and expose them
to sports, arts and crafts, compassion work,...


The social worker
doing home visits within the community and,
if necessary, sets up programmes to help
children and/or families in need.



