What are Nationals 4 and 5?
National 4s-what do they involve?
– Internal Units-all must be passed
– Assessed by your teachers
– There has to be ‘evidence of learning’ such as eportfolios, presentations, diaries, portfolio etc
– In some courses there is an ’Added Value Unit’ must be
completed-an extra assignment
National 5s-what do they involve?
– Internal Units must be passed
– There has to be ‘evidence of learning’ such as eportfolios, presentations, diaries, portfolio etc
– Assessed by your teachers
– Pass external course exam
– Course Assessments may include assignments e.g.
projects, reports, folio of work etc – See Nutshell docs
