UTS implemented on NR at 10 stations on 15th August, 2002 and 13 more



The e-reservation website http://www.irctc.co.in was
inaugurated on 3rd August 2002.
The software developed by CRIS consists of:





Complete interface software between the IRCTC front-end
server and the back end Alpha server.
Complete e-reservation and enquiries back end servers.
Ticket printing and reset facilities in existing client.
Accounting reports for the IRCTC transactions.

Frequent Rail Traveller’s Scheme





FRTC club opened, Registration Fees is Rs.
500 per year valid for three years and
Renewal Fees is Rs. 300.
Off peak Period – 15 January – 31 March
and 15 July – 15 September.
Points awarded for 10% of the total
amount and in peak period 2% .
Scheme applicable for all classes except 3
AC in Rajdhani, Shatabdi & Jan Shatabdi
Trains.




Data warehouse on PRS is a collection of passenger
information from 5 PRS sites intended for management
reporting and decision making. It will facilitate the
management to analyse the following:

Wait List Analysis
On daily weekly, monthly and yearly basis for premium
train types, classes and pair of stations.
Extraction/Transformation/Loading layers of processing is
developed in house.
