membership based upon assessment against criteria (e.g. graduate
chemical engineers should join as Associate members)
• Technician Member status provides EngTech / RSciTech registration
• Individuals attain Chartered Chemical Engineer status after
successful peer review and subsequent election to Chartered

• Senior Chartered Chemical Engineer professionals with significant
responsibility can be elected to Fellow with support of referees.
• The new Associate Fellow grade recognises senior professionals in
other disciplines who are linked to chemical engineering and the
process industries
