History
Lincoln University is a public institution
that was founded in 1866. It has an urban
setting and the campus size is 157 acres. It
utilizes a semester-based academic calendar. Its
in-state tuition and fees are $6,725 (2012-13);
out-of-state tuition and fees are $12,725 (201213).
Core Mission
• The core mission is to provide excellent
educational opportunities for a diverse
student population in the context of an open
enrollment institution to give opportunity to
rising stars like you.
• About 3,388 students attend Lincoln university
which is 2,893 more than the average for
all Colleges and Universities.

educating them on program offerings and
removing obstacles to program enrollment.

organization, planning and effective

• The advent of technology has made the
traditional way of attracting prospective
student obsolete or irrelevant. Relying on
school websites, brochures and emails and
field trips are not enough to yield the
expected result.
Facebook/ Twitter Contest:
• Lincoln University can offer bookstore gift
certificates to fresher's who replaced their
Facebook/twitter profile photos with the
university logo.
Student Services
• Effective recruitment strategies include being
visible to students and creating an environment
that fosters dialogue and the exchange of
information.
• Lincoln University is an educational heaven where
students learn and grow outside the classroom.
The university provides Career and Counseling aid
that serves as an advising tool in guiding students
to their career path. Student support services
provides student with free after school tutoring.
Stronger Student Support:
• Introducing referral programs such as rewarding
students who spreading the word about Lincoln
University to increase enrollment.
• Keeping students involved in their education is
one of the best ways to ensure that they are
successful in school and remain enrolled.
• Award points based on the completion of specific
actions. The more they participate, the more they
earn. Students can become your greatest
marketing team when you reward them for
referring their friends to your program

• sports do offer a unique advantage when
choosing a college. The important part to
admissions boards is the time commitment
and goal-achieving skills developed in these
extracurricular activities.

• Parental involvement in the student education is
very important, monthly parent meetings should
be held at the middle and high schools and a
meeting at the Lincoln University campus, where
the importance of higher education should be the
subject for discussion.
• In addition, the parents should be exposed on the
availability of scholarships and Financial Aid and
how the can access it.
