It has been awhile since our last bulletin, I wanted to get this one out to you a.s.a.p. so, it will be short, but sweet There are plenty of new things happening with the A.C.M.A. Such as: the 2015 Comp disc is being burned, and will soon be sent out to the stations (50 in all!) It features 10 A.C.M.A. Artists who are excited to see what God has planned for their ministries as a result. The Head Board will soon meet with two of our Regional Directors in Alabama (Melvin Dumpson SR., director over the Southeast) and Minnesota (Gloria Nihart, director over the northeast). Then we will attempt to make it out west…the good Lord willing We also have two other Chapters in the works…one is an Ohio State Chapter, and the other is a County Chapter for the Richmond/Berea Kentucky area…tba. June 6th will kick off the A.C.M.A. awards process. We do this every year at our annual Picnic. With special performances by the Artists who have been nominated, and ballots handed out, it is always such a great time of fellowship. Confirmed dates are Saturday July 11th at the ARC Saturday August 8th downtown Somerset Judicial Park Stage starting at 1 pm. Our third National Event of course comes in December our Christmas Banquet, and happens in December every year. It is when we get together exchange gifts, Sing, and eat a big Ham Dinner . A.C.M.A. Manna One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water! She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it so slowly, and then asked, How much do I owe you?' You don't owe me anything,' she replied. 'Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness.' He said ...'Then I thank you from my heart.' As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit. Many years later that same young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to her case. After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge, and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill. She read these words …'Paid in full with one glass of milk' (Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly. Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: 'Thank You, God, that your love has spread broad through human hearts and hands.' There's a saying which goes something like this: Bread cast on the water comes back to you. The good deed you do today may benefit you or someone you love at the least expected time.. If you never see the deed again at least you will have made the world a better place - And, after all, isn't that what life is all about? The hardest thing to learn in life is which bridge to cross and which -- To burn. A Merry Heart Corner Brain Cramps (On September 17, 1994, Alabama's Heather Whitestone was selected as Miss America 1995.) Question: If you could live forever, would you and why? Answer: "I would not live forever, because we should not live forever, because if we were supposed to live forever, then we would live forever, but we cannot live forever, which is why I would not live forever," --Miss Alabama in the 1994 Miss USA contest. "Whenever I watch TV and see those poor starving kids all over the world, I can't help but cry. I mean I'd love to be skinny like that, but not with all those flies and death and stuff." --Mariah Carey "Smoking kills. If you're killed, you've lost a very important part of your life," --Brooke Shields, during an interview to become Spokesperson for federal anti-smoking campaign. "I've never had major knee surgery on any other part of my body," --Winston Bennett, University of Kentucky basketball forward. "I'm not going to have some reporters pawing through our papers. We are the president." --Hillary Clinton commenting on the release of subpoenaed documents. OK…now lol! Miscellaneous Press Kit? Chaplain’s Corner Titus 3:5-8 The washing of regeneration is something that happens when you are Born Again…I had a birth I don’t remember and one I can’t forget! When we are born we are produced, generated, created “If any man be in Christ he is made a new creature (a brand new creation)…actually pro-created as God planned it, We are not the creator but, we pro-create according to the Creator’s master design! And it makes no matter what the Worlds system says-Planned Parenthood, the abortion clinic and the A.C.L.U. say about it honey…Life begins at conception-it is produced, generated…it is not just a glob of flesh, or the more politically correct term “a fetus” it’s a baby boy, or a baby girl…generative in the natural and regenerated in the Spirit, later in life when he or she comes to age of accountability! We are brought forth from our Mother’s womb not to pursue our own passions and desires…but, that the purposes of God would be accomplished in us! To chase after God and His Spirit…GODCHASERS! So that we would be renewed in the Spirit of our minds…and to share the goodness of the Lord with everyone we come in contact with everyone we meet and become involved with…in relationship, in business, and in our communities, wherever regeneration is needed. Now God said “let us” make man in our own image after our likeness, male and female created He them and said “go be fruitful and multiply…replenish the Earth. Now replenish if I may is the same word as regenerate, it is known as the Genesis effect…a washing of regeneration! Which many theologians and Bible scholars believe took place after the Ice Age and the time of the dinosaurs? The period between Genesis 1 and Genesis three is a mystery, I don’t even pretend to know everything even though I have been accused of being a know it all! LOL It happened again if you remember with the flood a cleansing (make somebody or something thoroughly clean: to remove dirt from somebody or something, especially by washing thoroughly) of the Earth…the earth is reserved now for a more severe judgment when the Heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the earth shall melt with fervent heat.
