The production process
Mineral “harvested” from solar evaporation pan.
“Dredges” (a large vassal that slowly moves over the pans
surface) "harvests" the solution.
On the “Dredge” there is lot of industrial manufacturing
equipment to control the operation of the raft.

Deployment
BreezeNET DS.11 Point-to-point links were set up between the main plant building,
where the network backbone resides, and the remote pumping stations and offices
located on the shore of the evaporation pans.
At each remote office, a BreezeNET PRO11 access point was installed, serving up to 3
dredges, at point-to-multipoint.

Benefit as perceived by customer
"The Alvarion Wireless network is essential
for the daily operations of the DSW. The
increase in uptime and the improved
productivity could not have been made
without the use of wireless broadband
network. Previously, any production
equipment malfunction aboard the rafts
would require time to drive to the site and
repair. Now, remote monitoring fixes these
issues. Uptime is increased and so has
overall productivity. Alvarion products have
proved to be reliable and robust, and have
exceeded our expectations”
