Status ICC 2009 10 Significant Supporters So far no signed contract Confirmed: - Qualcomm(30kEUR), Actix (5kEUR), Signalion (5kEUR), Dresden (20kEUR) Very likely sponsoring: - Vodafone (>= 15kEUR), Ericsson (>= 5kEUR), Broadcom (>= 5kEUR), NEC (>= 5kEUR), T-Mobile (>= 15kEUR); - Requirement to be Keynote speaker: 5kEUR (though 15kEUR is recommended) 150kEUR seems to be a very likely patronage Additionally, several patronage requests are still not answered/decided yet. Status ICC 2009 11 Hotels Contract with conference venue signed Hotel contracts not signed yet - Hotels (except for Westin) will be booked through VDE’s agency no liabilities - 3 Premium class hotels, 5 first class hotels, 3 standard superior hotels ( too many hotels !?) - Preference for Westin will be reflected on website Website will provided sufficient information how to reach conference venue Very good public transportation from hotels to conference venue Status ICC 2009 12 Local arrangements Current choice is Westin Bellevue - Banquet in Atrium of the hotel - combined with tents outside of the hotel - Located directly at the banks of the river Elbe - Walking distance to conference venue: ca. 5-10min Overall cost for 520 attendees: ca. 95,000 USD (excl.
