Overview of Bridge role - national
Connecting young people with great arts and culture
A New Direction is part of a national network of 10 bridge organisations,
funded by Arts Council England (through lottery) to use our experience and
expertise to connect children and young people, schools and communities
with art and culture
In London we have a unique model – Apples and Snakes, The Lyric
Hammersmith, The Roundhouse and Sadler’s Wells are also funded to
be ‘Bridges’ for the capital
