Rompetrol Well Services (RWS) offers a wide
range of specialised services for the oil
and natural gas wells, that include
Cementing, Sand Control, Stimulation,
Testing, Slickline and Casing Running
acquiring an estimated market share of
40 % in Romania.
Services are provided to oil and gas
operators and drilling contractors,
focusing on cementing that represents
62% of total revenues.
With an experience of 60 years, RWS
supervises all the on-going jobs and
provides the technical support for its
operations in Romania and overseas.
Besides Romania, the company has a
branch in Kazakhstan and is currently
active in the Balkan Area, Northern Iraq
and Turkmenistan (for oilfield equipment
sales)

Objectives
Consolidate its position in Iraq and the Balkan
peninsula, especially Bulgaria and Turkey,
after establishing the third operational base
in Kazakhstan and already successfully
concluded services for over 100 wells.
Contribute with various services for the
exploration and development of natural gas
fields in the North-East of Bulgaria.
Enter the Middle East Market through partnership
with local contractors.
RWS aims to continue it’s development in
Romania by modernizing of its operational
technologies, estimating to achieve a ratio
of 55% equipment less than 5 years of age
by the end of 2010. The investment
program is focused on the upgrade of
cementing, acidizing and sand control
services.
