Introduction
• You will be creating a diagram and outline in
Inspiration on the following topic: Should the
government have the power to limit freedom of
speech under certain circumstances?
• If you would like to learn more about the First
Amendment and writing persuasively, follow the
links on this pathfinder. It will help you find

the Internet, and in the community. It should also
help you reach some conclusions about why we
have laws.
