others to oppose the tax increases imposed on the
alcoholic beverage industry

– BHA Supported HB 229 making improvements in
Historic Preservation tax credits, updating the
Kentucky Tourism Development Act and establishing
a program to help have more films made in Kentucky

– BHA Supported the Kentucky Equine Education
Program (Keep) proposal for adding VLT’s at
Kentucky Race Tracks to keep our thoroughbred
industry strong
– BHA Advocated with Kentucky US Representatives
to oppose EFCA legislation under consideration in
Congress

– BHA Encouraged LFUCG and KY Transportation
Dept to find funding to bury power lines
along the Newtown Pike Extension
