CENTRE DE TRADUCTION
DES ORGANES DE L'UNION EUROPEENNE (CdT)
 Fondé en 1994, le Centre de traduction est basé à Luxembourg.
 C’est un organisme de droit public européen doté de la personnalité
juridique.
 Il dispose de ressources financières propres provenant des
versements des agences, offices et institutions en contrepartie des
prestations fournies.
 Il compte actuellement un total de 215 membres du personnel.
 Le Centre est géré par un conseil d’administration composé des
représentants de tous les États membres et de ses clients, et par un
directeur.

LA MISSION DU CENTRE DE TRADUCTION
 Répondre aux besoins de traduction croissants
d’un grand nombre d’organismes communautaires
décentralisés et absorber la surcharge de travail
des institutions et organes disposant d’un service
de traduction;
 Participer activement à la coopération
interinstitutionnelle en vue de «rationaliser les
méthodes de travail et de faire des économies
d’échelle».

experts nationaux (“national focal points”)
