What is plagiarism and why is it important
to cite sources and avoid plagiarism?
"Plagiarism is defined as the act of taking the specific
substance of another and offering it as one's own without
giving credit to the sources. When sources are used,
acknowledgement of the original author or source must
be made following scholarly practice." Cal State Fullerton
