Searching & Selecting Information
• Search the Internet and Clipart for images that could
be / are used in your storybook.
– Three of each, Internet & Clipart (doc 2)
– You must use 2 or more words in searches
– Screenshot the process & dialogue all the way along
for one search each (doc 1)
• Print out these pictures, leaving space for writing about
what is good about the image and what would need
changing for your storybook
• For your audience, experiment with 3 different styles,
colours, and formats of fonts. Choose one and justify it.
• Bring together your choice of font and an image to
produce a new page for your storybook.
Layouts & Audience
• Hand-draw or lay out on MS Publisher three different
possible story page layouts. Describe them on a
separate Word document, state which one is best for
your audience & purpose and why.
• Re-visit your introduction on screen. Review it and make
sure that you have discussed layout, fonts (colour, size,
bold, etc.), images, colour schemes, animations, etc.
• Ensure that the evaluation about the book matching the
audience & purpose covers each and every point above.
Include screen shots of your book.
• After the above, do another three searches, as last
week, using AND/OR/NOT
