Closed. Inside it has a lock hole to be used to secure the window `Open` 5 Cabin Door Windows Secure window for small amount of air flow. Open window fully and secure on the stopper – take care not to allow window to fly open. 6 Front Console Syncroshuttle 4 Wheel MODE SELECTOR FOR / REV SELECTOR •HORN •TURN SIGNALS •LIGHTS Front Console Powershift Transmission Control Lever FOR / REV Selector & Four Speed Powershift Control 7 Powershift Travel Lever Assembly Kick Down Button In manual – the gearbox will not change from 3rd to 4th until over 18 kph FWD 1 1 2 2 3 4 3 4 REV F N R Auto - select 4th For/Rev unit will automatically select 2nd then change up gears after 4 kph On TLB2 gearbox NO 4th Gear Reverse is available. - CONNECTOR V1 Rec eptac le: DEUTSCH DT 04-8PA-CE02 Mates with: Plug: DEUTSCH DT 06-8S NOTE: The powershift lever is not interchangeable between the Carraro or Clark/Dana gearbox 8 9 Front Console Warning Indicator Lights Parking Brake Turn Indicator Signals Head Lights Transmission Neutral Engine Preheat Engine Fault Warning Side Light 10 Front Console TBL2 Warning Indicator Lights Used from June 2009 Parking Brake Turn Indicator Signals Head Lights Transmission Neutral Engine Preheat Engine Fault Warning Side Light Three Position 4 Wheel Drive Switch (4 WD Models only) 11 Position (1) 2 Wheel Drive 2 Wheel Braking Front drive axle disconnected. Rear Brakes individually used to steer for Tight Turns, “LOADING TRUCKS”. Position (2) - 2 Wheel Drive 4 Wheel Braking Front drive axle disconnected. All Brakes used when brake pedal is pressed causing brake switch to close. Lock into this position for “ROADING”. Position (3) - (3) (2) (1) 4 Wheel Drive 4 Wheel Braking Switch Locked In This Position. This Position Will Produce Efficient Braking And Should Be Used For “OFF ROAD”.. Three Position 4 Wheel Drive Switch (4 WD Models only) “ROADING” (3) (2) (1) Position (2) - 2 Wheel Drive 4 Wheel Braking In normal two wheel drive if the brakes are applied at speed (on the road) the weight transfer of the machine would raise the rear of the machine and make the brakes inefficient. In position 2 when the brake is applied electrical power is also cut to the 4wd solenoid in the gearbox. This applies drive to the front axle, locking both axles together, thus allowing the machine to use the transmission and all four wheels to brake. CAUTION – Do not engage with machine wheels raised off he ground. 12 13 Below the Front Console Differential Lock Pedal – Give Brake Pedals – The two pedals are equal power to both rear wheels. Useful when the wheels have insufficient adhesion. equipped with a lock, to enable the machine to be braked as one or to aid steering by being used independently. Transmission Gear stick Engine Accelerator Pedal – Used to increase the engine speed. NOTE: Do Not Engage Diff. Lock While Wheels are Off the Ground or Spinning. 14 Transmission Gear Change Lever and Transmission Dump Button Transmission Dump (Interrupt Button) - Press and hold the button to disengage the transmission drive and enable gear selection. 15 Right Hand Side Console Cab unit Side Instrument Pack Fuse & Relay Panel Cabin Heater Controls Side Switches Clam Shell Control Lever Ignition Switch Loader Control Lock Hand Cable Throttle Loader Control Lever Transmission Gear Stick Parking Brake Backhoe Transport Lock 16 Side Console Switch Pack Front Working Light Beacon Rear Working Light Rear Windshield Wiper Hazard Backhoe Sideshift Lock Rear Windshield Wash Return To Dig (Rtd) Single / Twin Pump Unload Backhoe Quick Hitch Horn 17 Side Console Instrument Pack Engine Coolant Engine Tachometer – Shows engine speed Temperature Warning Lamp in revolutions per minute. – On when the engine cooling Engine Oil Pressure Warning system reaches an abnormally high Lamp – Comes ‘ON’ when the engine oil temperature. pressure is too low. Alternator Charge Warning Lamp – Transmission Oil Temperature Warning Lamp – ‘ON’ if the transmission oil temperature is too high. ‘ON’ when the alternator/fan belt is broken or the alternator is not charging the battery. Air Filter Restriction Warning Lamp – Lamp comes on when the air filter primary element needs to be cleaned or replaced. Hydraulic Filter Restriction Warning Lamp – Comes on when the hydraulic filter needs to be replaced. Hydraulic Oil Temperature Warning Lamp – ‘ON’ when the hydraulic oil temperature is too high. Fuel Level Gauge – Shows the Not Used. quantity of fuel in the fuel tank. Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge – Normal the needle is in the ‘white’ section. 18 Loader Controls Clam Shell Control Pump Unloader Transmission Dump Loader Control Basic Linkage 19 20 Raising & Lowering the Loader Beam 21 Dumping / Crowding “Filling” the Bucket 22 Loader Float Control • PUSH THE LEVER FORWARD UNTILL IT REACHES DETENT 23 Loader Beam Automatic Return to Dig RTD • DO NOT HOLD THE LEVER INTO POSITION 6. • PUSH IT LEFT & FORWARD THEN LET IT GO.
