Debut of Consolidated Screening List Search
Tool
On 20 November 2014, the Department of Commerce
debuted a web-based search tool to help U.S. companies
easily search the Consolidated Screening List (CSL), a
streamlined collection of nine different “screening lists”
compiled by the U.S. Departments of Commerce, State,
and the Treasury. The CSL contains the names of over 8,000
individuals and companies with whom a U.S. company
may not be allowed to do business due to U.S. export
