CEMS MIM Application Process
• June–September one year before: Marketing of MIM/MSc offer;
agreement on “slots” with partner schools and start of
applications
• November–January: Selection interviews
• February–March: Confirmation of admissions
• March–July: Planning of academic program

The Two Tracks
Beside English, students from Singapore are assumed to
have a mother tongue that counts as a “home” language.
• Trilingual track: Students spend one term abroad in
Europe and one term in Singapore; they are examined
in one additional foreign language
• Trinational track: Students spend both terms abroad
(of which one in Europe)

Languages
• English is considered the first foreign language
• For Trilingual track, the foreign languages examined in
CEMS currently are Spanish, Russian, Portuguese,
German, French and 10 more “European” languages;
examination in more languages (Chinese, Hindi, Arabic
…) is planned

Languages—waivers
For Trilingual track language waiver:
• Secondary education in a foreign language
• Accredited commercial language tests (Cambridge
ESOL, DALF, Goethe etc.)

• August–October: start with the CEMS Block Seminar
and CEMS English exams in September

Selection Process
• Selection is completely by the Business School
• Number of candidates: minimum guaranteed 18
student slots available

Application requirements
• Be an MSc(Mgt) student
• Completed requirements for BBA(Hons),
BBA(Acc.Hons) or BSocSc(Economics); or (for other
students) completed one semester of the MSR in the
MSc(Mgt) program
• For Trilingual track, proficiency in Czech, Danish,
Dutch, Finnish, French, Gaelic, German, Hungarian,
Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian,
Spanish or Swedish

Interview and Assessment
• A 30–60-minute long panel interview with 3 persons
(Academic Director, Corporate Representative,
CEMS Coordinator)
• Observing applicants in practical exercises and
through personal meetings

Tuition
15,000 Euros
• Tuitions are charged to the Business School directly
(full tuition-scholarships to students) before May 30,
2008, and have to be paid before August 31, 2008
• Includes all program related costs (Block seminar,
Language testing, Skill Seminars)
• Excludes travel costs, housing fee, language learning,
etc.

Preparation
• When students are selected, host country CEMS
Coordinators and MIM Student coordinators will help
with housing, visa, academic advice, etc.
• Business School will additionally assist the students if
official certification, etc., is needed, and for any
MSc(Mgt) accreditation
