BCI ATN Router General Capabilities

• BCI’s ATN Router is a Class 4 ATN router in accordance with ICAO Doc 9705 • Support all ATN OSI protocols: IDRP, CLNP, ES-IS, and IS-IS • Support ISO 8208 (X.25) and ISO 8802 (Ethernet) • Support IPv4 and IPv6 SNDCFs

• BCI’s ATN Router runs natively on any Intel-based processor • Under LINUX Operating System • Have delivered systems on Dell Power Edge Rack Mount System and HP Servers • Use Performance Technology 4-port card for X.25 WAN interface • Can be configured for redundant operation with a system controlled front-end switch

BCI ATN Router Other Features

•IDRP Security in accordance with Doc 9705 Edition 3 • Can operate without a PKI using pre-shared keys • TCP/IP (RFC 1006) to TP4/CLNP Gateway • For AMHS Systems which only have AMHS over TCP/IP • Could also be used for AIDC to have dual-stack capability

Air/Ground Application Support

• BCI’s Ground-Ground Router also supports Air-Ground Application Routes • Support Air-Ground Routing Policy based on IDRP attributes to signal Traffic Type • Can be used as Backbone for Air-Ground Traffic -Support 10,000 Air-Ground Routes • BCI is currently developing an Air-Ground Router • Will support Mobile SNDCF, VDL-2 Packet Level Procedures, and VDL-2 Handoff Across VDL Ground Stations • Will complete in 2 nd Quarter 2009
