Online Course) : 'Sports aerodynamics and building

• Bert Blocken gaat de grootste windstudie ter wereld
leiden
• Bert Blocken won de junior Award van de
International Association of Wind Engineering (IAWE)

• Bouwkundestudente Hanneke Godfroy heeft de
Duurzaamheidsprijs gekregen bij Brains Awards
2013 voor gevel met slimme variabele isolatie en
warmteopslagcapaciteit
• Jan Hensen benoemd tot IBPSA Fellow op de
Building Simulation conferentie in Aix-les-Bains
• Cum laude voor promotieonderzoek van
Feixiong Liao naar ‘supernetwerken’ van USS
met Harry Timmermans als 1e promotor

climate adaptive building shells - Design and
performance assessment’
• Student Tim Schelle wint jaar werken bij
Rijksgebouwendienst. Hij won de prijsvraag waarbij
jonge professionals in vastgoed een essay moesten
schrijven

voor haar onderwerp “A challenging practical
experience: The Trek-in, a durable and innovative
hikers’ cabin”

• 1,7 ton voor onderzoek naar akoestisch comfort
voor musici in concertzalen door leerstoelgroep
Building Acoustics binnen het NWOonderzoeksprogramma Topsector Creatieve

• Samenwerking met China, CSC = China
Scholarship Council (oplopend aantal Chinezen,
3e geldstroom)
• 13 promoties: waarvan 1 cum laude!

• Nieuwe FP7 project c-Space gestart. In januari start
het nieuwe project
I - Locate: is een Pilot B project
• SPARK
16 promovendi gaan starten in 2014
• 2 mln. Euro voor Bouwmaterialen
STW-HTSM project voor eco beton van 1 mln Euro
goedgekeurd van Jos Brouwers (Bouwmaterialen,
BPS). Eerder in 2013 is ook een project van 1 mln
over de toepassing van Nanomaterialen
goedgekeurd
