This is a story about Jesus from the Bible.
Jesus did many amazing things and he
was always showing us how God gives to
us.
This time… it all starts with a small boy!

The people had been sitting there all
day and now they were very hungry!
But… the shops were shut and it was
a long way to walk home for dinner!
What were they going to do?

A little boy gave his lunch of five
loaves of bread and two fish to
Jesus.
It wasn’t much but it was all he had
and he wanted to share.

Jesus took the food, thanked God for it
and asked his friends to give it out.
And the food kept going…
and going…
and going…
no one was left hungry!

This story shows us that no
matter how little we have,
if we’re willing to s h a r e it,
then God can use us to bless
others in amazing ways!

What do you have?
What can you give to others?
It may not seem like much but you
can still use it!

To give up or give
back?
At school this year, instead of giving up
things, we’re going to give back to each
other.
is a project that will help
us to think about each other and how
God would like us to treat others.

Each day in your class, you will choose a
kindness challenge for the day.
As a class, you will try to complete that
challenge…
Each class will be doing something different.
Will you be able to guess their challenge?
Will they be able to guess yours?

Let’s pray…
Dear God,
Thank you that you have given us so much. You give
us life every day, family, friends and people who take
care of us. In the next few weeks, help us to remember
others and show us ways in which we can give back to
those who give so much to us. Remind us that this is
one way in which we can show we love you.
Amen
