The Golden Triangle
The Golden Triangle covers the three most gorgeous cities of
the country. Its is so called because of the triangular shape
formed by the locations of New Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan on a
map.
This triangle has been dubbed "golden" for the extraordinary
wealth of cultural and historical splendour on offer in each of
the three cities.

Hawa Mahal
• Built in 1799, by Maharaja Sawai Pratap
Singh
• The 5 storied stunning semi-octagonal
Monument having 152 windows with over
hanging latticed balconies is a fine piece of
Rajput architecture.
• Originally designed for the royal ladies to
watch
• And to enjoy the processions and other
activities on the street below.
• Now it houses a well laid out museum, The
display “Jaipur past and present”

Central Museum
• Oldest museum of the state and
functions as the State museum of
Rajasthan
• This graceful building was founded
in 1876 by Prince Albert (also
known as Albert Hall).
• It has a rare collection of
archaeological and handicraft
pieces.

Amber Fort
• It is a fine blend of Hindu and
Muslim architecture.
• The solemn dignity of it red
sandstone and white marble
pavilions, when reflected in the
lake at the foot hill, is a sight to
behold.
• It contains various halls i.e.
Sheesh Mahal (chamber of
Mirrors), Diwan-e-Am or the Hall
of Public Audience, Diwan eKhas or the Hall of Private
Audience.

Birla Temple
• The Birla Temple, originally known
as Lakshmi Narayan Temple
• Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and
Goddess Lakshmi, this temple is
built in pure white marble
• Inside this magnificent shrine,
beautifully sculpted idols of Lord
Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, as
well as other Hindu Gods and
Goddesses, can be seen
• Delicate carvings of Hindu
symbols, and ancient quotes from
the Geeta and the Upanishads
ornament the walls of this
fascinating temple

Chowkidhani
•
Chokhi Dhani Village has been the mirror
of Rajasthani culture since 1989. Started
as part of ambiance for a restaurant, over
the years it has evolved as a tasteful and
authentic symbol of ethnic village life of
this most colorful state in the country

Spread over 10 acres of beautifully
landscaped area for a rustic look

Live dance and music performances all
through the evenings is one of the major
attractions at Chokhi Dhani Village.

•The Jantar Mantar is a collection of architectural astronomical instruments, built by Sawai Jai Singh
who was a Rajput king. The title of and Sawai was bestowed on him by Emperor Mohammad Shah.

designed by Lal Chand Ustad in the form of the crown of Krishna, the Hindu god.
