What is IFTTT?
Established in 2010.
IFTTT is a service that lets you create powerful connections with one simple
statement: if this then that.
Supports 72 channels (platforms) – Facebook, Dropbox, Email, RSS,
Instagram, SMS, Twitter, WordPress, YouTube, etc.
The company has received a total of $8.5 million in funding. (via

Business model
IFTTT is primarily a consumer service, but the platform will extend its scope
to the enterprise, opening new possibilities for SaaS providers and
enterprise app makers.
How do they make revenue?
At the moment it is not fully clear. It seems that:
* IFTTT could be purchased and integrated into existing social networks as
a tool to interlink various services?
* An enterprise could request custom recipe which would otherwise not be
likely to be built?
* Paid recipes?
