What is a pronoun?
A pronoun is a word that takes
the place of one or more
nouns.
For Example:
1. Laura wanted to vote.
She wanted to vote.
2. Sara and Gena are friends.
They are friends.
These are pronouns!

What is an
antecedent?
An antecedent is the noun or
nouns the pronoun refers to.
For example:
Kate and I will go to the lake if
you drive us there.
Kate and I are the antecedents,
and us is the pronoun.
