Levels of Food Pyramid
Although the daily allowances differ among age, sex, and
physical activity, these are the general amounts:
Grains
◦ 3 to 5 ounce equivalents
Vegetables
◦ 2 cups
◦ 1 to 1 ½ cups
Fruits
Oils
◦ 3 to 4 teaspoons
◦ 1 to 1 ½ cups

Meats and Beans
