可參考以下方式預計出席人數,訂購適量食物:

catering are provided, estimate the amount of food required
considering the anticipated turn up rate, for example :

• 如舉辦大型活動,可預先安排食物回收機構收集剩食
For large events where it is difficult to avoid leftover,
consider contacting food recycling organizations in
advance
• 事先呼籲參加者自備餐盒將剩食打包
Encourage participants to bring their own lunch boxes in
advance to take home any leftover food

• 如以自助形式提供茶點/輕食,同樣的食物款式可以
待差不多吃光後才打開,尤其是需要冷凍的食物
• If it is a buffet, same type of food should only be refilled
when it is nearly finished, especially for frozen food

場地佈置 Venue Decoration:
• 放置有「惜食」訊息的桌面告示,通知參與者活動中採
取的惜食措施
Place tent cards on tables that raise awareness on the food
waste reduction measures adopted
• 如情況許可,可張貼有「惜食」訊息的宣傳海報

appropriate

活動期間 At the event:
•安排司儀即場介紹有關「惜食」的安排
Include a message to promote ‘Love Food Hate Waste’ in the
MC script.
•提醒賓客如吃飽或提早離開宴會就告知服務員不需上菜或
提供較少分量
Ask participants to notify the caterers if they are leaving early
or are already full so that they will reduce the amount of food
they are bringing to the table

•參考過往活動的剩食情況,適度調整將來舉辦活動中提供
食物的份量
•Take reference of the amount of leftover food from the past
events for gauging the optimum amount of food to be ordered
for future events

回收注意事項 Tips for food recycling
• 先和機構聯絡好,清楚處理剩食的方法和程序
• Communicate with the organization about the leftovers
collection procedure
• 基於食物安全,若熟食及容易變壞的食物在4°C60°C的環境放置超過兩小時,則不應食用
• For food safety reason, cooked food and easily spoiled
food being exposed in ambient air (ie. 4°C-60°C) for
more than 2 hours should not be consumed

• 把剩食放在乾淨及密封的器皿
• Place leftovers in clean and covered containers
• 個別機構不能短時間内前來收集剩食,所以可能需預
留冷藏空間貯存剩食
• Sometimes leftovers need to be refrigerated for a while
before the organization is able to collect them

• 預先包裝食物(如賀年禮盒)Packaged food
• 食物發霉、有異味 Spoiled food
• 包裝問題:破裂、有裂縫、嚴重生銹等 Food with
broken or rusted packages
• 食物過期 Expired food
• 沒有清楚標示食物名稱、配料、食用日期 Food
without stating ingredients or expiry date

• 即食食物 Instant food:
• 食物發霉、不新鮮或有異味 Spoiled food

• 烘焙食物(麵包)Bakery (Bread):
• 遵循食物日期指示 Follow the instructions of expiry
date
• 只直接派發不含新鮮忌廉/餡料的食品(如三文
治、麵包卷)Only directly distribute bread without
cream or fillings
• 含鮮忌廉/餡料食品需存放於雪櫃內才可派發
Distribute bread with cream or fillings after refrigeration
