Development and manufacturing capabilities include pilot and large-scale mammalian cell culture, polyclonal antibody production, product formulation, liquid fill and packaging.

All manufacturing is carried out according to current Good Manufacturing Practice in facilities located at two sites in Edinburgh area.

Applications are sought for the above vacancy within the Validation Department at our Ellen’s Glen Road site.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will drive quality initiatives and improvement within the company, maintaining collaborative relationships with colleagues from all areas in the business. You will ensure on-going quality improvement while maintaining compliance to internal procedures and international standards. Key responsibilities include change control, process improvement, complaint management, internal investigations, root cause analysis of complex problems and proactively responding to trends in key business and quality critical parameters.

You should have a science background having worked in a cGMP environment, with appropriate experience in a similar role being essential. You must demonstrate a strong ability to analyse situations and processes to eliminate problems. You should show your ability to work effectively and meet deadlines under the pressure of a high workload. You must have good communication skills and a solid understanding of core IT packages such as Microsoft Excel.
