Lexington School District One will not permit clothing deemed distracting, revealing, overly suggestive or otherwise disruptive.

Student Handbook

The stakeholders at Pleasant Hill Middle School are dedicated to providing a safe and secure learning environment for all students. Therefore, we reserve the right to monitor the mode of dress on campus and make appropriate adjustments to the dress of individuals, groups, or the entire student body as is necessary to maintain a positive learning environment.

 Dress should be appropriate for normal school activities; it should reflect pride and respect.  The purpose of these basic dress guidelines is not to infringe upon any individual student’s right to freedom of expression, but rather to encourage students to “dress for success” and come to school properly prepared to focus on learning.  We are requesting the cooperation of all students and their parents in adhering to this policy.
