• The Memphis Design Movement was a
group of designers based in ITALY that
came together to react against the
modernist movement.
• Modernism was a design movement which
believed LESS is MORE and the FORM
(shape) of a product should FOLLOW it’s
FUNCTION. Not the opposite where the
function dictates the shape.
