SARKARBHUMI – Introduction
The Government of Andhra Pradesh underscored the need to protect all
the Government lands in the state. Land management problems include
• Lack of an updated inventory of Government land including vacant
lands
and other categories of lands
• Survey related problems
• Boundary discrepancies
• Difficulty in localizing land claims
• Protection of lands from encroachments
Hence, the need of hour is to establish an accurate and up-to-date
land bank, which means to establish an Inventory of Government Lands
with detailed classification of Encroachment Lands, Assignment Lands,
Alienated Lands and Vacant Lands.
SARKARBHUMI – Land Inventory Preparation
As per the Recommendations by the Koneru Ranga Rao Committee (KRRC)
(Vide G.O.Ms. No. 1049 Dated 28.07.2007), an Inventory of Government Lands
to be prepared. A sample of preparation is shown below.
SARKARBHUMI – Final Proforma
Based on the discussions held by CCLA & Spl. CS by various Collectors, Joint
collectors, PD CMRO, the following 21-column proforma for Land inventory
preparation was finalized.
SARKARBHUMI – Data Porting
• A Few districts, based on KRRC recommendations,
prepared the 17-col form of Government Land Inventory
• CCLA Office recommended to port such data to the
Sarkarbhumi database for automatic retrieval
• Data, so ported was to be shown and later on updated for
RSR and other missing details
• Later on, porting was discontinued as it was felt there
could be data entry mistakes
• Provision to correct ported records is also provided in
Sarkarbhumi software

• Update Present Survey number detail with digitallysigned survey number details from Webland
•
Digitally sign completed records

Upload Inspection details for digitally signed records
