• Varroa spreads across colonies by:
– Swarming
– Robbing
– From flower foraging

– Reduced resistance to infections

– Slow replacement of new bees
– Colony collapse during autumn/winter
– Proliferation of otherwise harmless viruses,

• New system from Exosect using patented
electrostatic powder technology
• No need to remove hive roof
• No pesticides, powder contains essential oil
extract (Thymol), but uses 60% less thymol
than Apiguard
• No repellency or impact on colony
