Transportation to
School of Origin
Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District
Hello EASE Counselors and Registrars,
This is a friendly reminder about our process for transportation. Anytime a student is designated
as homeless by our office and request transportation outside of the established attendance
zones even if it is within our district (out of district or moved into another attendance zone),
we (Dave Schrandt and Bobbie Jones) should receive the transportation request from your
campus via email. The following information must be included:
Name of Student
Current School
School of Origin
Parent's Name and Contact Information
Current Address
Previous Address (If the student moved and is requesting a change)
AM or PM Pick-up or Both
All requests should come to us first and we will coordinate the routing with transportation and
share the information with you all. If the student is out of Cy-Fair's school zone a new SRQ is
required to be completed reflecting the new address.
****Students who are within the established attendance zones, should be handled by each
campus according to the normal process.
We appreciate your ongoing efforts to ensure that the Homeless Grant is a success!!
For questions, please contact Dave Schrant at [email protected], and Bobbie Jones at
[email protected].
Have a great day!
