Converting Files to RTF format


available, there can be compatibility issues when
trying to open documents in programs other than
the one the file was created in.
 Rich Text Format (RTF) is a universal format
that can be opened by most word processing
programs (excludes Notepad).
Ask your instructor what file type they want you
to use to submit assignments.

Compressing Files Using WinZip

The smaller the file size, the less time it will take to
upload (attach) your files to an email message.
Compressing your files helps protect against
corruption during transfer.
