Main Components in ePermit (STA)
Pre-registration for STA
• Registration of Company Details, End Users (Importers) and Authorized Applicants, which will be approved by MITI • Registration of STA Products, which will be approved by the respective agencies i.e. MITI, AELB, MCMC, Pharmaceutical Department • User IDs will be created based on approved Authorized Applicants • Authorized Applicant will receive a token for digital signature purposes on permits
Permits for STA
• Application of permits for export, transshipment, transit and brokering for strategic items • Approvals will be made by respective agencies, based on products • Digital signature by applicant and approver will be used in this process 5

4. Select Electronic Permit (STA) to login.

1. ePermit (STA) system login process will take place automatically.

1. Upon logging in, the system will display selection for Exporter or Broker registration.
Notes: Differences between Exporter and Broker registration:

1. Click add button at Importer Details section.
2. Add Importer pop-up window appear. Enter required details and click save.

1. Click add button at Authorized Applicant Details section.
2. Add Applicant pop-up window appears. Enter required details and click next.

3. Attachment screen appears on the pop-up window. Browse file and click attach files.
4. Attachment section will be updated. Click back.
5. Authorized Applicant Details section will be updated.

1. Click submit button to submit Registration application.

1. Click the logout button on the ePermit System to logout from the Electronic Permit (STA).
