Step 5
• The MimioToolbar will appear
on the left side of the
projector screen. Pressing the
icon in the bottom right
corner will allow you to write
overtop anything that is
pulled up on the projector.
(Blank screen, Powerpoint,
even a webpage, etc.) To
write, simply tap the pen icon,
choose a color, then select
the size for the line width
using the slider.
Step 6
• Pressing the bottom left icon will cause the
screen to go back to normal (i.e. you can
click but no longer write using the Mimio)
Step 7
• When finished using the Mimio, click the X on
the Mimio Toolbar and return the pen to the
MimioTeach Bar.
Troubleshooting and
Hints:
1. When clicking on the bottom left
icon in the toolbar, all writing on the
screen will disappear.
2. The Mimio Pen will only work on the
projected screen.
3. If the light on the MimioTeach Bar is
yellow/amber, be sure the MimioHub is
plugged in. If this does not solve it,
contact your school’s technology
assistant.
Have fun using the
basic aspects of
Mimio!
