Always Wear a Helmet When Riding Your Bike
Helmets Come in Cool Colors and Can Save Your Life.
Helmets can reduce the risk
of head injuries by 85%.
Make sure your helmet is a good fit for you.
Do this simple check before riding your bike.
The helmet should sit level
on your head and low on
your forehead—one or two
finger-widths above your
eyebrow.
Center the left buckle under
the chin. Adjust the slider on
both straps to form a “V”
shape under, and slightly
in front of, the ears.
Tighten the strap until it is
snug, so that no more than
two fingers fit under the
strap.
