(i) Current status of IoT in China
1 IoT industry
has established
a solid
foundation

Standard architecture: To establish a unified standard system of IoT framework and efficient
standards development coordination mechanisms, to comprehensively review the relevant
standards at home and abroad, and to satisfy the urgent need of clear China's Internet of Things
standards and key standards.
Common key technology standards: Key support for the identification and resolution,
service quality management based on common standards and sensor interface, UHF and
microwave RFID, smart gateway, machine-to-machine service support and other key technical
standards.
Key industry standards: Working for the needs of industry, environmental protection,
transportation, health care, agriculture, power, logistics and other key industries, which carried by
the major application demonstration projects. Summing up the successful models and proven
technology to the form a series of promotional value of the industry application standards.
Information security standards: To develop the safety standard system framework of IoT,
to focus on promoting the sensor node security and the formulation and implementation of digital
information security standards, to establish major national infrastructure of safety monitoring
system, to clear the safety standards monitoring and enforcement mechanisms.
Standardization services: To integrate existing standardized resources, to establish domestic
and international standards information databases and intelligent retrieval analysis system, to form
a comprehensive standard advice, testing and certification services platform, and to build IoT
coding and identification resolution services.

China will concentrate on cultivating 10 key industrial
districts which will be the carrier of enterprises, and 100
important enterprises which will be the leading flags of IoT.
With this strategic layout, the modern industrial clusters with
complete service platform ,strong character and highlight
brand will be gradually created.

01 Industrial Districts: With construction of integrated industrial
zones mainly including R&D centers, R&D enterprises, testing
and certification centers, and closely integrated with their special
professional features such as perception manufacture,
communication operation and application service. This will lead
to the industrial clusters of strong distinct characteristics, and
integrate the resources of both upstream and downstream
enterprises.
02 Key Enterprises Cultivation:This is to cultivate nationwide
100 enterprises which has key technologies, in good operations,
of good marketing, leading in the industry and development
beginning to take shape.

Demonstration projects in key areas are designed to explore the
application model, application deployment and to promote the
accumulation of experience and methods. Such projects generate
mature service models that can be replicated in industry, then
prepare for the social-wide scale use. In the economic field, such
