Costs Associated
• Annual $15 membership fee is
sent directly to Girl Scouts of
the U.S.A.
• Troop dues are money collected
by the troop to purchase
supplies and fund activities
• Dues are determined by the
troop
• Activity fees are amounts paid
for girls to participate in
Uniform
• The only “required” uniform is
the Girl Scout membership pin
• Each level has an official Girl
Scout tunic, vest or sash with
appropriate insignia, personal
choice
Money Earning
• Girl Scouts have the
opportunity to earn funds for
their troop by participating in
Fall and Cookie Sales
• Great way to offset the cost to
parents/guardians for troop
activities
