HCS Series:
• Single-stage dry screw compressor
• 5 Frames available
• Flow rates from 380 to 4700 CFM (650 to 7980
m3/hr)
• Pressures from 15 to 50 PSIG (1 to 3.5 BarG)

Heart of the System
Operating Principle:
• Two meshing rotors positively displace
air from inlet to outlet
• As the air is forced between the
asymmetrical profile of the rotors, it is
compressed to approximately 15 PSIG
(1 BarG)
• The seal created between the rotors
and casing allow back-pressure to
build...up to 50 PSIG (3.5 BarG)

Design Features:
• Stainless Steel shaft seals on either
side of the rotor keep air from leaking
out of the compression chamber.
• Timing Gears ensure NO CONTACT
between the two rotors.
• Rotors are coated with ULTRACOAT®
– Provides corrosion resistance
– Reduces fictional losses
