History
• Founded: June 2006 by an initiative of the Directorate General for
Culture and Education of the European Commission
• Volunteer organisation
• Administered by the service provider
• Over 7,500 EMA students & alumni
as members

• Serve the interests of Erasmus Mundus alumni and students
• Create professional and personal networks
• Foster international careers of Erasmus Mundus graduates
• Provide a channel of communication
• Give recommendations to potential students
