Has presently 4 GGS viz, Limbodara GGS I and II, and Gamij GGS I and III.
Gamij GGS has two fields
• Gamij
• Halisa.
Wells drilled
• 107: Gamij
• 15 :Halisa
Crude oil characteristics of the Gamij field are very poor in general.
The main cause of many well where crude oil does not flow to the surface has been due to
poor flow characteristics.
The Challenge
• Due to oil being received via both flow lines
and(termed ‘inside’) and via tankers (termed
‘outside’) there is wild variation in input crude
oil conditions due to uncertainty in ‘outside’
crude oil quality
• Presence of very high water cuts at the input
end due to regular hot water flushing jobs
carried out at the wells due to which
conventional flow improver technology fails

Average Viscosity reduction over 88% at 29.10C
Pour Point of 24-270C obtained
Parameters within desired range for entire contract period
Sharp decline in line pressure from instantaneous high of 78kg/cm2 to an average of 16 kg/cm2 during peak
winter condition.
Increased liquid carrying capacity due to improvement in flow properties
Decrease in Steam requirements
Sharp decline water cut due to improved water separation ability and smoother flow( from 30% to 20% on a monthly average
basis)
