The Lubbock Cleft Palate Clinic
has been serving families of the
South Plains, and beyond, for
over 30 years. The clinic
consists of a multi-disciplinary
team of professionals who
donate their time to assist
individuals with cleft lip-palate
and craniofacial anomalies.
The team meets on a monthly
basis for consultations and
staffings.
The Lubbock Cleft Palate and
Craniofacial Anomaly Clinic is
comprised of professionals from
a variety of disciplines. The
team may include professionals
from:
•Audiology
•Dentistry
•Nursing
•Orthodontics
•Otolaryngology
•Pediatrics
•Plastic Surgery
•Social Work
•Speech Language Pathology
In addition, referrals may be
made to professionals from the
following disciplines or
agencies:
Mission Statement
The goals of the Lubbock
Cleft Palate Team are:
•To provide children of the
South Plains with an
interdisciplinary team
dedicated to caring for
children with cleft lip, cleft
palate, and other
craniofacial anomalies.
•To ensure that our patients
are cared for by a team of
professionals who have
interest and expertise in
craniofacial anomalies, and
who continue to use the
latest research and
technology in their practice.
•Geneticist
•Neurosurgery
•Nutrition
•Prosthodontics
•To ensure that all children
needing services are
treated.
•Early Childhood Intervention
•Public Schools
•To provide families with
the necessary skills to be
able to participate in the
child’s treatment plan.
The Lubbock Cleft Palate and
Craniofacial Anomaly Clinic is
always looking for professionals
willing to help with the clinic.
