No Fault Exit Strategy
S The strategy should be determined at the beginning of the program
S It involves a mutual agreement, emphasized to both mentors and
mentees
S The agreement should specify that either party has the option of
discontinuing the mentor relationship for any reason
S The No Fault Exit Strategy should not be used as an excuse to avoid
dealing with a difficult situation
S Ensure that no blame is attached to either partner in a No Fault Exit
Alignment of Principal Performance Appraisal
and Mentoring/Coaching Goals
S All mentees are required to complete a Learning Plan
S Individuals can adjust the Goals and Strategies within the
Ministry template to the context of the Mentee Learning
Plan
